Effecting Change. Affecting Children.
The Children’s Agenda is a non-profit, non-partisan policy organization focused on issues affecting children living in Greater Rochester. The Children's Agenda leads change for what's needed the most and what works the best for our children by initiating solutions, analyzing policies and programs, and collaborating with local leaders. The key areas of focus for our work are:

• Analysis of public sector budgets to gauge the effectiveness of public sector programs that affect children living in Monroe County
• Advocacy for evidence-based programs related to
  1. reducing and preventing child neglect and abuse
  2. high-quality early childhood education
  3. after-school care programs
